The Catawba Indian Nation plans to open a bingo hall in York County by the end of the year that would bring about 200 jobs, Chief Donald Rodgers said Tuesday. The Catawbas are negotiating with a partner to build the bingo hall, which Rodgers estimated would be between 50,000 and 75,000 square feet. He declined to identify the partner or the locations being considered.
