In September, the history of Palm Springs will be presented through the perspective of the area's first residents, the Cahuilla people. The Palm Springs Public Library, in partnership with the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum, will present the city's first Cahuilla Month. “It kind of happened because California Native American Day is in September. We've been collaborating with the library to do an event,” said Mary Perry, associate director of development for the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum.
