“On behalf of the Navajo Nation, we are grateful for the courageous service of all United States Armed Forces, including our own Navajo warriors who continue to fight for our freedom everyday. Although the war on terror hasn’t ended, I am proud to say our Navajo warriors have done their part in this fight against terror. I also want to express my gratitude and thank all the brave U.S. service men and women for accomplishing this dangerous mission. I applaud President Obama and the Administration for his leadership and concentrated efforts in finding Osama bin Laden. No one will ever forget September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on America and the heinous crimes Osama bin Laden had committed against humanity. The United States Department of State has issued an alert for all American citizens traveling abroad, I would like to extend this alert to all our Navajo people as well.”
