For four days the Meskwaki Nation, also known as the Sac and Fox Tribe, will share their culture and heritage with visitors during the 95th Annual Meskwaki Indian Powwow. The event will run from Thursday through Sunday and will be held four miles west of Tama on Highway E-49 along the Iowa River. Highlights will be the grand entry performances at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. each day where traditional dances and music will be featured from tribe members of all ages.
