Area tribe gets $2 million for housing

Bowler - MyFox Wausau - An area Indian tribe receives nearly $2 million dollars in stimulus money. Leaders in the Stockbridge-Munsee Band in Bowler are set to break ground on new housing projects for low income and disabled residents. "You have to have enough housing for your membership when they return to the reservation to live and we have a housing shortage here," said Tribal President Kimberly Vele. "So affordable housing is a high priority."
