Aquaman Rides the Batmobile! Jason Momoa in New Justice League Trailer

The latest Justice League movie trailer! Jason Momoa is a gritty, fierce trident-throwing, silver-eyed, whiskey-drinking and monster-killing Aquaman.

The latest trailer to the Warner Bros. DC Superhero movie Justice Leaguewas released this week and unveils the latest exploits of Jason Momoa as a gritty, fierce trident-throwing, silver-eyed, whiskey-drinking and monster-killing Aquaman.

Justice League - Warner Bros. DC Comics

The Justice League includes From left to right: the Flash (Ezra Miller), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck), and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. Superman (Henry Cavill), might be out of the story.

The film, which is set to be released this November, will include DC Comic heroes Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), the Flash (Ezra Miller), Superman (Henry Cavill), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and as we previously reported -- to the delight of Indian country -- Jason Momoa as Aquaman.

It is worth noting that though Superman is in previous Justice Leaguemovie photos, his exact role in the film -- if at all -- is not certain due to the current story in the DC franchise and Superman movie plots. Superman effectively, might be left out of the story -- at least for now.

To the equal delight of comic nerds everywhere -- who have long joked that the original orange and green tights once worn by Aquaman were the worst costume ever created and that Aquaman himself was arguably the worst comic book and cartoon superhero -- Jason Momoa now looks more cutting edge in his Aquaman superhero costume and persona which includes a suit with ocean-like scales, silver eyes and body tattoos.

In the Justice League movie, Bruce Wayne, the alter-ego of Batman, seeks to assemble a cast of superheroes who will band together in the pursuit of justice. Aquaman’s character is not portrayed without sarcasm, as Batman (Affleck) says to Momoa as Aquaman with his Affleck sly smile: “I hear you can talk to fish.”

The cast of Justice League has also been a source of inspiration to Indian country as the cast of superheroes have released videos on social media in the past supporting Native efforts such as NoDAPL.

Justice League will come to theaters officially on Nov. 17, 2017.
