A group of American Indians are hoping to earn a Pepsi Refresh Grant to open an American Indian Center in Shakopee. The center would provide programs in language, American Indian arts, and a dance troop for the students and young adults of the community. The proposal is seeking a $50,000 grant through the Pepsi Refresh project. The grant would help the organization find a facility, cover administrative costs and purchase equipment.
