Whether you’re a dog or cat lover, or both, it’s not hard to appreciate these classic traits and tendencies of our furry, four-legged friends.


A Rez Dog will bark at the door to go outside.

A Rez Cat will stand on your face when you are lying down to be let out, and then just stand at the door undecided.

A Rez Dog will bark at anyone trying to come near your house.

A Rez Cat will yawn unconcerned as your house is robbed, then meow at the thief to feed it.


A Rez Dog will play with your kids.

A Rez Cat will stare at your kids as if it hates them—unless they know how to use a can opener.


A Rez Dog will chase after birds, squirrels, beavers, chipmunks or rabbits—but never catch them.

A Rez Cat will leave dead, gross, bloody and dismembered birds, squirrels, beavers, chipmunks or rabbits on your porch to show they love you.


A Rez Dog will roll around in the dirt and dig all over the place until you have to give them a bath.

A Rez Cat will look at a Rez Dog like he is an idiot, give themselves a bath with their tongue, and if you even think of trying to give them a bath—will remove large sections of your flesh with their claws.
