There are few better places to be then Palm Springs, California, in May. Golf fans will definitely want to check out the 2nd Annual Agua Caliente Invitational Charity Golf Tournament at Indian Canyons Golf Resort on May 16 to get the best of both worlds—the amazing surroundings of the San Jacinto Mountains, golf, and a little celebrity action to boot. The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians and their 400 members stewards their amazing homeland, which is more than 31,500 acres of ancestral land which includes cities, county and protected Bighorn sheep habitat.

Comedian Kathleen Madigan officially kicks the good times with a charity performance at 7:00 pm on May 15 and The Show at Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa in Rancho Mirage. Five local charities will benefit from the tournament—Guide Dogs of the Desert, Scars to Freedom, the Coachella Valley Autism Society, the American Diabetes Association, and the Western Coachella Valley Police Activities League. The tournament is an 18-hole, four person best ball scramble that starts with registration on Monday morning, May 16, at 7:30am, with the shotgun start at 9:00 am. Celebrities scheduled to appear include the Bionic Woman Lindsay Wagner, Cheech Marin, Robert Hays from Airplane!, and NFL legends Christian Okoye and Eric Dickerson.
