The Nisqually tribe plans to move ahead soon to construct a $6.3 million youth activities and community emergency center in southeast Thurston County. The facility would open late next year on the reservation, near Yelm. Surveys have shown a youth center was "high in the priorities" list for tribal residents, Nisqually tribal administrator Richard Wells said Tuesday.
