An American Indian casino in Allegan County is closer to reality after a federal judge in Washington, D.C., denied a last-ditch attempt to stop the process. The Gun Lake tribe says U.S. District Judge Richard Leon on Monday refused to halt the U.S. Interior Department from setting aside 147 acres for the $200 million casino planned for Allegan County’s Wayland Township.
